Our iPhone development build sends images to the working prototype. In hands-on retests of versions 0.9.3 and 0.9.4, our tester described photos as clearer and loading as faster.

Time, weather, prices and parking reminders: in the myLoopi prototype, you can choose content and a desired update schedule.
Keep the time in view.
Update from your phone time every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes with the app open and a Bluetooth connection. The limits described below apply in the background.
Loopi Pet. In a weather mood.
Our yellow mascot: cheerful in sunshine, sad in rain. In the app prototype, your Loopi Pet follows the weather at your chosen location. Weather data creates a new design; the mood is shown as an image.
Your prices. Your overview.
Stocks and crypto as a compact price card with a source and data timestamp. The prototype loads BTC, ETH and SOL, plus AAPL through a labelled demo access. Other stocks require your own data access. The display is a snapshot.
Keep parking time in view.
Your original arrival time stays fixed. In the app prototype, the displayed time remaining can update to help you keep track of the parking end time you set.
When your look updates.
With the app open, your selected interval applies. Background updates are planned at a minimum of 15 minutes; the phone determines the actual timing and can delay it considerably. A single transfer with a locked iPhone is confirmed, but reliable regular operation is not. Bluetooth range is still required; fully closing the iPhone app pauses automatic updates until you open it again.
The parking reminder is not a replacement for an approved parking disc. The arrival time is not moved automatically.

Payment takes place with the provider on your phone. Loopi itself does not initiate a payment; direct payment at a checkout terminal is not yet a feature.

A real step forward
NFC detected on the prototype.
An external NFC reading test detected our Loopi prototype. Further NFC use and writing your own content are still being tested.
What does the reading test show?
NFC Tools shows “ISO 7816”, “Nordic Semiconductor” and “Writable: Yes”. The available technology is listed as “Unknown”. This does not demonstrate a successful write test, the specific chip type or a payment function.
