The magnet is exclusive to the Plus upgrade. A Qi charger, skins and other accessories are not part of the confirmed package contents.
You pay the full order total when placing your order. The proceeds fund Loopi’s first production run. A working prototype exists; series production is being prepared.
Your statutory rights of withdrawal, legal guarantee and other consumer rights remain unaffected. We do not offer an additional voluntary return policy. Using the payment for production does not exclude these rights.
The current app build offers photo and text editing, templates and saved looks, plus designs for dates, clocks, to-do lists and weather. Our yellow mascot is called Loopi Pet. The display uses black, white, yellow, red, green and blue. Public releases of myLoopi for iOS and Android are planned; the app is currently in development. Automatic background updates depend on the phone and operating system and remain under testing.
Dimensions, weight and protection rating reflect the confirmed product specifications. The final production versions are being prepared.
The existing device sample supports wireless Qi charging. In the project team’s own prototype test, it charged from empty to 100% in under 15 minutes. The team reports battery life of up to three months, depending on use and image changes. The charger model, refresh frequency and other test conditions have not yet been documented. These observations relate to the existing sample and do not guarantee charging time or battery life for the production versions. A suitable Qi charger is required separately and is not included in Base or Plus.
Dispatch of the first production run is planned to begin around 20 January 2027. The original photos show our existing working prototype, which has a magnet. The planned Base version comes without a magnet; the magnet upgrade is part of Loopi Plus. Both production versions and their accessories are being prepared. The colourful package images are AI product illustrations created with Higgsfield. They show the planned package contents and are not original photographs of the prototype. Lanyard colours and the exact magnet design are illustrative; the final production versions are being prepared. Manufacturing, further testing and approval of the sales units are still to follow.

Reported by the project team for the existing sample. The charger model and update frequency in the battery-life test have not yet been documented. Charging time and battery life are not guaranteed for production versions.

Our iPhone development build sends images to the working prototype. In hands-on retests of versions 0.9.3 and 0.9.4, our tester described photos as clearer and loading as faster.

Loopi is a personal E-Paper display with six base colours. Base has no magnet; Plus includes the magnet upgrade. Create your look in myLoopi and send it over Bluetooth.
In the myLoopi prototype, you can edit photos and text, customise templates and save looks. Time, to-dos, weather designs and your own QR links add to the options. The six device colours have been tested; further designs are being checked on the real display.
Base will be offered without a magnet and includes 1 carrying strap. Plus includes the magnet upgrade and 2 carrying straps in total. Fridge use requires Plus and a suitable magnetic surface. Compatibility with phones and cases is being checked separately. A stand is not included.
Up to three months, depending on use and image changes. This is a project-team report for the existing device sample. Update frequency and other conditions of the team’s battery-life test are not yet documented; this does not guarantee battery life for production versions.

A working prototype with a magnet and our own myLoopi app already exist. Real iPhone tests have confirmed Bluetooth image transfer and the six display colours. You can watch continuous original app-and-device footage on this website. Base without a magnet and the final Plus configuration are being prepared; further variant and Android tests, and public store releases, are still ahead.
In the app prototype, you can enable automatic updates and first send your look to Loopi. With the app open, the clock offers 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes; weather and other everyday modes offer 15, 30 or 60 minutes. In the background, the phone determines the actual timing. A regular schedule with the phone locked has not yet been confirmed.
Your own photo or message makes Loopi personal. Create and save looks in myLoopi. Base includes 1 Loopi without a magnet and 1 carrying strap; Plus includes 1 Loopi with a magnet upgrade and 2 carrying straps in total. The original photograph shows the existing prototype.
In the myLoopi prototype, you can bring a personal HTTPS link into the editor as a QR design. For example, add your profile or website to a look. Scanning from the real E-Paper display is still being tested. This does not provide an access-control function.
NFC was detected on the existing prototype using a separate test app. NFC reading and writing your own content are not yet available in myLoopi. The test reporting the tag as writable does not confirm a successful write operation. Features and equipment of the final production version are still being checked.
In the app prototype, you can save, share or turn a link to an existing external payment page into a QR design. You deliberately open the page on your phone; myLoopi does not initiate a payment. Direct contactless payment at a checkout terminal is not yet available and requires a suitable payment solution with a partner.
For the chosen regular schedule, the app stays open and Loopi remains within Bluetooth range. A background mode has been prepared in the prototype, and a single transfer with a locked iPhone has been confirmed. Background scheduling starts at a minimum of 15 minutes; the phone can delay execution considerably. Regular background updates are still being tested. After fully closing the iPhone app, you need to open it again.
